FLEISCHMANNS FALL FOLIAGE PHOTOS

The fall foliage around Fleischmans, here in the Central Catskills, is as beautiful as any in
Vermont or New Hampshire - and closer to New York City. It's the same species of trees being
affected by the same time of the year and similar weather. The foliage here has long been one
of the best kept secrets of the area, much to the loss of tourists. The leaves usually peak out
about Columbus Day October 12 th. While the leaf peeping season is now just about over, one
should start now to make plans for next year. In 2008, there will be a fall foliage foto contest, so
start getting your camera ready now.

WHILE THE LEAVES ARE A BIG ATTRACTION IN THE FALL, KEEP IN MIND THAT FELISCHMANNS IS A FOUR
SEASON AREA. THERE IS SKING IN THE WINTER, SPRINGTIME IN THE MOUNTAINS AS THE WORLD COMES
ALIVE AGAIN, AND IT'S COOL IN THE SUMMER. (Many European visitors say it reminds them of the Alps)
